Equipment

  • 1 9x13" glass baking dish
  • measuring cups
  • 1 nut chopper if nuts are not previously chopped
  • 1 wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cans Caramel Apple pie filling Lucky Leaf carries this pie filling
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup pecans coarsely chopped, or about 1/2 cup finely diced pecans
  • 1 box butter recipe yellow cake mix (dry)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted (2 sticks)

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13” glass baking dish.
  • Pour pie filling into pan.
  • Top with coconut.
  • Sprinkle nuts over top.
  • Cover the top with the dry cake mix; pour melted butter over top covering the surface as much as possible.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.
