Equipment

  • 1 microwave oven
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 large sauce pan with lid
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups turkey cooked and cut up
  • 4 cups leftover homemade stuffing made with celery
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. fresh sage to taste (or 1/4 tsp. dried sage)
  • 1/4 cup turkey broth or more

Instructions
 

  • Microwave peas and corn until done – about 3-5 minutes each.
  • Combine turkey, stuffing, veggies, sour cream and cream of mushroom soup in a large saucepan over medium heat until heated through, about 5-10 minutes.

Notes

NOTE: Green beans or carrots can also be used.
 
NOTE: Preparation time does not include cooking turkey or stuffing since leftovers are used for this recipe.
 
NOTE: If desired, you can substitute rotisserie chicken for the turkey and use boxed stuffing mix, plus 2 ribs celery.
