These sensational brownies are great for birthdays or holidays. Funfetti cake mix is layered with white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and funfetti sprinkles for one of the gooiest, drool-worthy cookies you'll ever eat.
1cupwhite chocolate chipsnot premiere white baking chips
7oz. cansweetened condensed milk(half of a 14-ounce can)
Instructions
Mix cake mix, butter, sugar, egg, milk and half the container of sprinkles with a whisk until well combined.
Mixture will be very thick.
Spray a 9x9” or 8x12” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread about half of the batter into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle evenly with all of the white chocolate chips.
Pour condensed milk over top of the white chocolate chips as evenly as possible.
Sprinkle white chocolate chip layer with a heaping tablespoon of sprinkles.
Spoon remaining dough in dabs over top of the condensed milk and spread very gently with a knife to cover as much of the surface area as possible.
(You won’t be able to cover all of the top, but most of it will be well covered).
Sprinkle with an additional heaping tablespoon of sprinkles.
Bake at 350° for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
NOTE: You can also use an electric mixer to mix the batter if you use the lowest possible speed. If using a whisk, be sure to get the lumps out of the cake mix.
NOTE: Don’t use sprinkles with chocolate as they will darken the bars.
NOTE: I do not recommend doubling this recipe and putting it in a 9x13” or 10x15” glass baking dish. It takes too long to bake completely causing the white chocolate chips to melt and dissolve into the batter losing the texture completely. It also causes the sides to caramelize and toughen.
