Banana Mini Morsel Bars

Banana Mini Morsel Bars are absolutely scrumptious. These bar-type cookies have all the delicious flavor and texture of banana bread with chocolate chips. They're so easy to make and taste incredibly delicious. Perfect for tailgating or company parties, potlucks or backyard barbecues. Also a great way to use up bananas!   • 1 10x15" jelly roll pan
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels (12-ounces)
  • 2 tbsp. powdered sugar for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mash bananas on a plate with a fork; set aside.
  • Grease a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
  • Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, egg, bananas, salt and baking powder with an electric mixer in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  • Stir in flour and chocolate chips.
  • Spread into prepared jelly roll pan.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
