Pesto Asparagus is an over-the-top recipe your family is sure to enjoy! This marvelous 3-ingredient recipe is big on taste but very simple and easy to prepare. Great for company or holiday casseroles, too, since this recipe only takes about 5 minutes to prepare. Gluten free.

Equipment

  • 1 9x13" glass baking dish with lid, or use foil
  • 1 small mixing bowl
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • measuring cups
  • 1 sharp knife to cut asparagus
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 2 bunches fresh asparagus discard the bottom third of the stalk
  • 2 oz. jar pesto sauce any kind
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Spray a 9x13" glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place asparagus into dish.
  • Mix pesto and parmesan cheese in a small mixing bowl and spread over top of the asparagus.
  • Cover with lid or foil and bake about 30-45 minutes or until asparagus is fork tender.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
