Apple Crisp

Fabulous apple recipe with a wonderful streusel topping. This quick and easy recipe is great for breakfast or dessert. Substitute gluten free flour if you want to make this gluten free.

  • 3-4 cans Lucky Leaf Premium apple pie filling or 3-4 cans fried apples
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 heaping tablespoon UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup water


  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted



  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix apple pie filling, sugar, flour, and cinnamon and pour into a greased or sprayed 9x13” baking dish.
  • Pour water evenly over all.


  • Mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter.
  • Crumble evenly over apple mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.


NOTE: The original recipe called for 10 cups of thinly sliced apples. So you can use fresh apples if you wish.
