Supreme Pizza Casserole

Supreme Pizza Casserole really is supreme. This amazing casserole is half pasta and half pizza! It's filled with beef, spaghetti sauce, pepperoni, fettuccini, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. It's kid-friendly and an entree everyone always enjoys!

1 10x15" glass baking dish
1 large skillet
1 hamburger chopper to cut down meat in small pieces while frying
1 sharp knife to cut vegetables
1 large stock pot with lid
1 colander
measuring cups
measuring spoons
1 spatula
1 wooden spoon
aluminum foil
16 oz. uncooked fettuccini 2 lbs. ground beef 1 medium onion chopped 2 cans sliced mushrooms drained, 4-oz. each 58 oz. jar spaghetti sauce – any flavor (two 29-ounce jars) or your favorite spaghetti sauce 14 oz. jar pizza sauce 1 tbsp. granulated sugar 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. dried oregano 16 oz. bag Mozzarella cheese shredded (two 8-ounce packages) 6 oz. bag Parmesan cheese shredded 7 oz. bag pepperoni sliced (two 3.5-ounce bags)
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Drain in colander.
Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Use a hamburger chopper to cut the meat down in small pieces while frying.
Stir in the mushrooms and spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, granulated sugar and seasonings.
Drain pasta; stir into meat sauce.
Place half of the meat/pasta mixture into greased 10x15" casserole dish.
Sprinkle 2 cups of Mozzarella cheese over sauce mixture.
Layer a 3.5 ounce package of pepperoni slices on top.
Repeat layers once.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top of pepperoni.
Cover casserole with foil or lid and bake about 1 hour at 350° until mixture bubbles on sides.
Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes or so until done.
NOTE: You can also place this mixture in two smaller casseroles. Bake one and freeze the other. Cut cooking time down to about 45 minutes total.
