Tossed Salad with Almond-Crusted Chicken is absolutely sumptuous. This healthy and delicious main dish salad adds fruit, nuts and cheese along with a tasty chicken recipe to spice up salad. It includes a poppy seed dressing that's spectacular. The combination of sweet and savory flavors in this salad is breathtaking. Gluten free.

1 large salad bowl with tongs
1 sharp knife to cut fruit
1 toaster oven or regular oven to toast pecans
1 small cookie sheet to toast pecans
measuring cups
3 bags Hearts of Romaine lettuce or Butter Bliss lettuce 1/2 pineapple peeled & sliced in bite size pieces 16 oz. fresh strawberries sliced 6 oz. fresh blueberries 2/3 cup freshly grated Romano cheese or use Parmesan or Feta cheese 2/3 cup pecans toasted 1 batch Healthy Lemon Poppyseed Dressing 1 batch Almond-Crusted Chicken precooked, and cut up
Layer lettuce, blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, cheese and pecans in salad bowl.
Once chicken is cooked, slice down and place on top of chicken.
Toss to serve.
Drizzle salad dressing over top of individual servings.
NOTE: Preparation time does not include time required to make Almond-Crusted Chicken , Healthy Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing or to toast the pecans.
