Delicious hummus recipe featuring artichoke hearts. Healthy, low calorie, vegan and gluten free.

- 15 oz. can garbanzo beans reserve 4-5 tbsp. liquid from can
- 1/3 cup tahini sesame paste
- 6 tbsp. lemon juice or the juice from two lemons
- 8 drops hot sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt or kosher salt
- 14.5 oz. can quartered artichoke hearts rinsed and drained
- 4 cloves garlic minced or sliced
NOTE: For a smoother, creamier texture, mash garbanzo beans with a fork before adding them to your blender or food processor.
NOTE: Most hummus recipes use olive oil. If you prefer your hummus with olive oil, add a tablespoon when processing in blender.
