Cheese Potatoes

Cheese Potatoes will knock your socks off. This tempting and delicious side dish is super quick and easy to make. Though the recipe is simple it provides splendid taste. It's terrific for family, company or holiday dinners. Everyone will want seconds! Gluten Free.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 baking potatoes, peeled and boiled or baked and peeled
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes.
  • Cool. Dice small. I used a potato masher one time through.
  • Don’t mash the potatoes.
  • Grate or dice very finely one onion.
  • Add butter, cheese, sour cream and salt and pepper.
  • Pour into greased 1 1/2 –qt. casserole dish.
  • Cover with foil or glass lid.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
  • Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.
