These delightful cherry cookies just seem to dissolve in your mouth. They're the perfect dessert for summer when cherries are in season. We loved them.
Add oil, sugars, vanilla, egg, salt, cream of tartar and baking soda.
Mix with an electric mixer to combine.
Add flour and cherries.
Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.
Using a ¼ cup ice cream scoop, scoop dough and place on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes or until done.
Notes
NOTE: larger cookies take longer to bake then regular sized cookies.NOTE: Using a cherry pitter will reduce the length of preparation time for this recipe.
