Chocolate M&M Cake Mix Cookies are utterly delightful. These kid-friendly cookies start with a cake mix and use only 4 ingredients! They're perfect for holiday baking and Christmas Cookie Exchanges. They're so quick and easy to make that they're wonderful to whip up for potlucks, tailgating parties or any social function. If you enjoy chocolate and M&Ms, you'll swoon over these amazing cookies.
1/4cupUNBLEACHED all-purpose flour(If you don't decrease the oil, I recommend adding this so cookies don't flatten out too much)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, pour cake mix.
Add flour, eggs and canola oil and stir until combined.
Stir in M&Ms.
Grease cookie sheets with cooking spray.
Roll mixture into balls and place on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until done.
Rotate cookie sheets on racks every 6-7 minutes while baking.
Notes
NOTE: I kept my hands moist while rolling the cookie dough into balls.NOTE: I was baking 3 racks at a time. My cookies took about 20 minutes to bake completely.NOTE: I added 1/4 cup flour to get these cookies to the right consistency. Otherwise, you need to decrease the oil to a scant 1/4 cup.
