Cowboy Cookie Chocolate Pie is spectacular. This awesome pie is fluffy and chocolaty with the addition of oatmeal, chocolate chips and pecans from the Cowboy Cookies. It's a marvelous dessert for holidays or company. If you enjoy chocolate, you'll love this quick & easy 5-ingredient dessert.
8oz. containercool whipor other non-dairy frozen whipped topping, thawed
19-inchKeebler chocolate crumb crust
Instructions
Reserve eight Cowboy cookies for garnish; set aside.
Cut 10 cookies in eighths to equal about 1 ½ cups cookie crumbs.
Set aside.
Combine pudding with half and half and whisk vigorously for two minutes.
Fold in Cool Whip topping.
Stir in Cowboy cookie crumbs.
Pour chocolate mixture into chocolate crust.
Line the outside edge of the pie evenly with the eight whole Cowboy Cookies.
Chop two more Cowboy Cookies and sprinkle crumbs over top.
Freeze for six hours before serving.
Notes
NOTE: This recipe will not work in an eight-inch chocolate crumb crust. It needs a 9-inch chocolate crumb crust.NOTE: Cowboy cookies contain pecans, oats and chocolate.NOTE: You will not use the whole container of cookies.
