Creamy Sweet Carrots are heavenly. This easy recipe uses only 5 ingredients and can be whipped up in about 15-20 minutes. It's perfect for weeknight dinners when you need to prepare a quick side dish. But it's delicious enough to serve for company or holiday meals. Gluten free.

2 lb. bag frozen crinkle-cut carrots thawed Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 stick unsalted butter (1/4 cup) 4 oz. pkg. cream cheese cut in cubes 1/4 cup whipping cream
In a saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese.
Add the carrots, sugar, salt and pepper, if desired.
Stir frequently so all the ingredients blend well together.
Cook over low heat until carrots are hot and cooked through.
This will take 10-15 minutes.
Add the whipping cream and stir thoroughly.
NOTE: I have used either half-and-half or heavy whipping cream. Although my personal preference is heavy whipping cream.
