Heath Toffee Blondies

These amazing blondies are made with a shortbread dough and are filled with Heath Toffee Bars. They have a rich, chocolaty and toffee flavor. Great for holiday baking.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. vanila extract
  • 5 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (Bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 2 cups Heath Toffee Bars coarsely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cream together butter, canola oil, sugars, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
  • Add flour and chopped Heath Toffee Bars and stir with a wooden spoon until thoroughly mixed.
  • Press dough into a greased 11x17” jelly-roll style cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until lightly golden brown on top.
  • Cool completely.

Notes

NOTE: If desired, you can sprinkle an additional cup of chopped Heath Toffee Bars on top before baking.
