Hershey's Nugget Blondies

These amazing brownies use a shortbread crust and are filled with Hershey's Nugget candies for a divine chocolate flavor that will satisfy any sweet tooth craving you have!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (Bleached flour toughens baked goods)
  • 4 cups Hershey's Nugget bars coarsely chopped, divided use

Instructions
 

  • Cream together butter, canola oil, sugars, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
  • Add flour and two cups chopped Hershey’s Nugget bars.
  • Stir with a wooden spoon until thoroughly mixed.
  • Press dough into an 12x17” jelly-roll style cookie sheet.
  • Sprinkle remaining 2 cups chopped Hershey’s Nugget bars over top.
  • Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until lightly golden brown on top.
  • Cool completely.

Notes

NOTE: I used the extra creamy milk-chocolate almond Hershey’s Nuggets.
