Hershey's Nugget Blondies

These amazing brownies use a shortbread crust and are filled with Hershey's Nugget candies for a divine chocolate flavor that will satisfy any sweet tooth craving you have!

1 cup unsalted butter softened (2 sticks) 3/4 cup canola oil 1 cup powdered sugar 1 cup sugar 2 large eggs 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. sea salt 1 tsp. vanilla 5 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour (Bleached flour toughens baked goods) 4 cups Hershey's Nugget bars coarsely chopped, divided use
Cream together butter, canola oil, sugars, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Add flour and two cups chopped Hershey’s Nugget bars.
Stir with a wooden spoon until thoroughly mixed.
Press dough into an 12x17” jelly-roll style cookie sheet.
Sprinkle remaining 2 cups chopped Hershey’s Nugget bars over top.
Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until lightly golden brown on top.
Cool completely.
NOTE: I used the extra creamy milk-chocolate almond Hershey’s Nuggets.
