Lemon Oreo Pie

Lemon Oreo Pie is sensational! This rich and decadent pie is ooey, gooey, creamy and so luscious it will rock your world! It's an easy 5-ingredient recipe using Lemon Oreo Sandwich Cookies. This dessert is perfect for company or holidays, but so easy you can make it for everyday dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. pkg. Lemon Oreos divided use
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 5.85 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix (dry)
  • 8 oz. container cool whip or other non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 9-inch graham cracker crust

Instructions
 

  • Set aside 8 Lemon Oreos.
  • Coarsely chop 11 Lemon Oreo cookies to equal approximately 1 ½ cups chopped Lemon Oreos.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine vanilla pudding with half and half and whisk vigorously for two minutes.
  • Fold in Cool Whip topping.
  • Stir in coarsely chopped Lemon Oreos.
  • Pour Oreo mixture into graham cracker crust.
  • Line the outside edge of the pie evenly with the remaining whole Lemon Oreos.
  • Coarsely chop another two or three Lemon Oreos.
  • Sprinkle chopped Lemon Oreos over top of pie.
  • Freeze for about 6 hours before serving.

Notes

NOTE: You will not use the entire Lemon Oreos package.
NOTE: This recipe will not work in an eight-inch graham crumb crust. It needs a 9-inch graham cracker crumb crust.
NOTE: If you want a strong lemony flavor you can substitute two 3-oz. pkgs. dry lemon pudding mix.
