Lemon Pepper Chicken is awesome! This tender and mouthwatering Grilled Chicken recipe uses only three ingredients. It's terrific for potlucks, tailgating parties or weeknight dinners when you're short on time. Every bite will have you salivating. This delicious chicken entree gets rave reviews every time we make it. Gluten free.
Combine mayonnaise with two tablespoons lemon pepper.
Put rubber gloves on.
Rub mayonnaise mixture over top of each chicken leg.
After coating the chicken well, sprinkle final tablespoon of lemon pepper on top and bottom of chicken to coat pieces well.
Lightly coat the grill with cooking oil.
Grill chicken about 20-25 minutes, turning chicken every 5 minutes while grilling.
Notes
NOTE: I used about 6 to 8 tablespoons of mayonnaise.NOTE: You can use any piece of chicken or a whole chicken cut up. You may need to increase the amounts of the coating and the length of cooking time accordingly.NOTE: I used a generous amount of lemon pepper on tops and bottoms of chicken legs to cover the chicken. It was probably more than the single tablespoon remaining.NOTE: I highly recommend using rubber gloves to coat the chicken.NOTE: Be careful not to overheat the grill. The mayonnaise will drip down into the grill while cooking and it can start a fire if you're not careful.NOTE: The chicken needs to be turned over every five minutes while cooking so it doesn't scorch or get too burned.
