Marinated New York Strip Steaks is a terrific way to enjoy steaks using ingredients found in your pantry! The steaks are marinated overnight and then grilled the next day. Perfect for company or family dinners and so easy to whip up. Gluten free.
1/2cupTamari soy sauce(less sodium and gluten free)
1 1/2tsp.Worcestershire sauce(Lea & Perrins have a gluten free sauce)
2tbsp.white wine vinegar
2tbsp.lemon juice
2tbsp.honey Dijon mustard
2tsp.dried parsley flakes
1tsp.dried thyme
1tsp.Italian seasoning
1tsp.ground black pepper
Instructions
Chop onions and garlic; place in a small bowl.
Add soy sauce, Worcestershire, vinegar, lemon juice, mustard and seasonings.
Stir well to combine.
Place steaks in a Jumbo-sized zip-lock bag.
Pour marinade over steaks.
Seal bag and turn bag over a few times to coat the steaks with the marinade.
Place bag in a large cookie sheet pan and marinate for 8 hours, or overnight.
Remove meat from zip lock bag; discard marinade.
Grill, uncovered over medium heat until meat is cooked to desired doneness (rare, medium rare, medium or well-done).

NOTE: If you wish to keep this recipe gluten free, be sure to purchase soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce that’s gluten free.NOTE: I reduced the amount of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce in the original recipe, and I was glad I did as there was plenty of soy and Worcestershire sauce taste with the amounts listed above.NOTE: Remember that most of the marinade will be poured off before grilling so the amount of sodium and calories in the recipe will decrease substantially.
