M&M Funfetti Bars

Prepare to be wowed by this spectacular, super-sweet dessert brownie. It features confetti cake batter mix, M&Ms and a luscious vanilla buttercream frosting with more M&Ms on top. These cookies are rich, decadent and oh, so heavenly. Great dessert for holiday baking, potlucks, backyard barbecues or tailgating parties.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Confetti cake mix or any kind of funfetti or rainbow chip cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup canola oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half or whole milk
  • 1 cup m&ms any kind will work
  • 1 can Pillsbury Funfetti vanilla frosting
  • M&Ms for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix cake mix, egg, canola oil and half-and-half or milk with a whisk to combine.
  • Stir in the cup of M&Ms with a wooden spoon.
  • Pour into a 9x13” greased baking pan.
  • Spread batter into pan.
  • Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely--about one hour.
  • Spread vanilla frosting over top of cooled bars.
  • Sprinkle with funfetti pieces.
  • Then garnish the top of the bars with M&Ms as desired.
  • Refrigerate a few hours or overnight before cutting into bars.

Notes

NOTE: Any kind or flavor of M&Ms will work.
