Parmesan Ranch Dip

Parmesan Ranch Dip is utterly fantastic. This tasty recipe uses sour cream, ranch dip, parmesan cheese, fresh chopped basil, orange and red bell peppers, and green onions. Serve with potato chips, crackers, or veggie dippers. Terrific for tailgating parties or potlucks. We like to serve it as an appetizer before company or holiday dinners.

Equipment

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 sharp knife to cut vegetables

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. container sour cream
  • 1 oz. pkg. Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced fine
  • 1/4 cup orange bell pepper diced fine
  • 1 green onion diced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 heaping teaspoon fresh basil, chopped chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Stir all ingredients to combine.
  • Sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese.
  • Makes about 2 cups dip.
  • Serve with vegetable dippers, chips or crackers.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
