Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks is a delightful way to enjoy Cube Steaks. These are seasoned with a Parmesan Romano cheese coating and several herbs that amp up the flavor. This recipe can be oven ready in five minutes, making it perfect for weeknight dinners. Gluten free.
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper or spray a 10x15” glass baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
Combine seasonings and Parmesan cheeses on a plate.
Stir well to combine.
Dredge cube steaks in Parmesan cheese mixture.
Dredge both sides of cube steaks about three times patting the crumbs into the steaks each time.
Place cube steaks in prepared baking dish.
If desired, sprinkle remaining Parmesan Romano mixture over top of the cube steaks.
Bake at 350º approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the thickness of the meat.
Notes
NOTE: You can substitute regular Parmesan cheese in a can if you cannot locate the Italian blend with Romano.NOTE: Start checking the meat for doneness at the 30 minute mark. It may take a full 45 minutes, but you don't want to overcook the steaks so they become tough.
