Peaches and Bananas is a delightful vintage recipe my Mom always made. This wonderful Fruit Salad is terrific for hot summer days. Quick, easy and delicious. This recipe is gluten free and vegan.

or trifle dish
1 sharp knife
to slice fruit
measuring cups
measuring spoons
Ingredients

peaches
well washed, sliced
2
large
bananas
sliced
1
cup
strawberries
sliced, if desired
1/4
cup
lemon juice
if desired
2
tbsp.
granulated sugar
if desired
Instructions
Slice peaches in half and remove stone (if freestone peaches, if not, you will have to slice them the hard way with the pit still in the peach).
Place slices in a medium size bowl.
Add strawberries and, if desired, add sugar and coat well.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Just before serving, slice bananas and dip in lemon juice, if desired, to prevent discoloration.
Stir ingredients to combine.
