Peanut Butter Chip Oatmeal Cookies are mouthwatering, irresistible and so delicious you won't be able to stop eating them! This fantastic Oatmeal Cookie recipe includes peanut butter chips and chopped walnuts in the batter. One bite and you'll be hooked forever! 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed 1/4 cup Crisco shortening NO substitutes 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup unsalted butter softened 1 tbsp. milk 1 large egg 1 1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal (preferred over quick oats) 1/2 tsp. baking soda 12 oz. pkg. Reese's peanut butter chips
Heat oven to 375°.
Mix brown sugar, butter, shortening, milk, vanilla and egg until well blended.
Stir in remaining ingredients with a wooden spoon.
Roll dough into golf-ball-sized balls and place about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake until light brown, 10-12 minutes for soft cookies, 12-14 minutes for crisp cookies.
Store tightly covered.
NOTE: You may have to keep your hands moist while rolling dough if dough sticks to your fingers too much.
