Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream or Snickers ice cream
  • 12-16 oz. container cool whip or other non-dairy whipped topping
  • 2 small pkgs. instant chocolate pudding and pie filling dry
  • 1 box graham cracker crumbs
  • 19 fun size Snickers Bars or 40 miniature bars

Instructions
 

  • Mix 2 cups graham cracker crumbs with butter according to package directions and spread into a 9x13” pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Place in freezer while making the rest of the recipe.
  • Soften ice cream.
  • Using a mixer, mix the two packages of chocolate pudding with the ice cream until well blended.
  • Pour over graham cracker crust that's been put in the freezer.
  • Cover, freeze approximately 1-2 hours until mixture is set.
  • While dessert is setting up, chop up Snickers Bars into small pieces.
  • After the dessert is set, spread cool whip over top and then sprinkle with chopped Snickers Bars.
  • Cover and freeze until ready to serve.
  • Defrost 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

NOTE: This is a recipe that you can mix and match different ice creams and candy bars and all of them turn out well. Rocky Road, Toffee, Chocolate Chip cookie dough are all great ice creams to use with this recipe, so is using a cheesecake pudding and pie filling.
NOTE: I used 1 ¼ cups graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar and 1/3 cup melted butter to make the crust.
NOTE: Aim for a minimum of 2 cups chopped Snickers candies.
NOTE: Preparation time does not include time required to freeze layers before finishing the dessert.
