Spicy Grilled Chicken Thighs is a delicious marinated chicken recipe for the grill. This recipe marinates over night so your prep work is cut down when you're ready to heat up the grill. This is a fantastic chicken entree for backyard barbecues or grilling out with friends and it pairs well with almost any kind of side dish. This entree is well-seasoned but not too hot for the palate. Gluten free.
1 1/2tsp.pink Himalayan sea saltor celtic sea salt
1 1/2tsp.rubbed sage
1 1/2tsp.dried thyme
1tsp.ground allspice
1tsp.garlic powder
1/2tsp.ground cinnamon
1/2tsp.ground nutmeg
1/4tsp.cayenne pepper
1/4tsp.ground black pepper
10chicken thighs(bone-in, not skinned)
Instructions
Combine first 15 ingredients in a small bowl.
Measure out ½ cup of mixture and set aside for a basting sauce.
Place chicken breasts in a gallon size zip-lock bag.
Add remaining marinade to the bag.
Zip lock and turn bag over several times so that all the of the sides of the chicken get good coverage with the marinade.
Place bag of chicken on a plate and refrigerate overnight.
Remove meat from refrigerator.
Drain and discard marinade.
Grill chicken, uncovered, over medium heat for approximately 15-20 minutes for each side.
Baste chicken frequently with reserved marinade.
Continue basting and turning chicken while grilling until juices run clear.
Notes
NOTE: Cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165º.
