Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

These delicious brownies have triple the peanut butter flavor. They use extra crunch peanut butter, peanuts and Reese's peanut butter morsels for a rich, decadent taste your family will love. Terrific for summer holiday fun, backyard barbecues, potlucks or tailgating parties.

  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 electric mixer
  • measuring cups

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 cups light brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened, (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 cup extra crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 11 oz. pkg. Reese’s peanut butter morsels divided use
  • 1 cup peanut halves divided use

Instructions
 

  • Mix butter, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, eggs, peanut butter and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Add flour, 1 cup peanut butter chips and ¾ cup peanuts.
  • Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
  • Spray a 9x13” glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining peanut butter morsels and peanut halves on top.
  • Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool before cutting into bars.
