Chocolate and Vanilla Chip Chocolate Cookies are rich, chocolaty yet with luscious vanilla flavor too! These lovely chocolate cookies use both chocolate and vanilla chips for an explosion of flavor to die for! Great for holiday baking, Christmas Cookie Exchanges and tailgating parties.

1/2 cup unsalted butter softened 1/2 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup light brown sugar packed 1 large egg 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup cocoa 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods 12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup premiere vanilla chips
Mix butter, sugars, egg, sour cream, vanilla, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt with an electric mixer until well blended.
Stir in flour, chocolate chips and vanilla chips with a wooden spoon until very well combined.
Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.
Roll mixture into balls (you may have to keep your hands wet while rolling to avoid dough sticking to your fingers).
Place on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until done.
Rotate cookie sheets on oven racks after six minutes of baking time.
Cool completely.
