Chocolate Mocha Almond Brownies are sensational! These brownies are loaded with chocolate, coffee and almond flavors. They're rich, decadent and heavenly. This dessert will surely cure any sweet tooth craving. Plus, it's wonderful for tailgating or holiday parties, potlucks, backyard barbecues or grilling out with friends. If you enjoy chocolate and coffee, this dessert will knock your socks off!
Mix melted butter, sugar and eggs and whisk until combined.
Add extracts, brewed coffee, baking powder and salt and whisk again.
Add flour, cocoa powder and chocolate syrup and whisk one last time until everything is well combined.
Spray a 9x13” baking dish with cooking spray.
Spread brownie batter evenly into prepared baking dish.
Bake at 350° approximately 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Serve with ice cream and chocolate syrup, if desired.
Notes
NOTE: You can use any kind of freshly brewed coffee here. Starbucks coffee works great. Don't use coffee granules alone. The coffee must be brewed or dissolved in boiling water before adding to the recipe. (I used Dunkin' Donuts, but any kind can be used as long as it's brewed).NOTE: My brownies took about 65 minutes to bake completely.
