I made these cookies back in December for my son and his wife. I actually made each a platter of assorted Christmas cookies for them to share at their offices. While you can certainly makes these cookies for the holidays, they’re easy enough to make all year round. They have the subtle taste of a Sugar Cookie, with just a touch of chocolate added in. I thought they were superb.
Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies are so addictive. I challenge you to stop at just one! If you can, you certainly have more willpower than I do. 🙂 If you enjoy a tasty treat after a meal try this cookie! They’re also great to take to potlucks or for tailgating parties. Wherever you take them, people will be drooling over them. No kidding. Better make two batches if you want some for yourself!
Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies are addictive. It’s hard to stop at just one!
These luscious cookies combine the best of Sugar Cookies with the best of Chocolate Chip Cookies. Wow!
This is a great dessert for tailgating parties, backyard barbecues and potlucks.
I believe it’s time to try one of these jewels.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Soften butter. Place in a mixing bowl with granulated sugar, powdered sugar, eggs, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and almond extract.
Add vanilla extract and oil.
Mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add chocolate sprinkles.
Stir with a heavy spoon until very well combined.
Roll dough into balls.
Now roll dough into chocolate sprinkles making sure to coat all sides really well.
Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray. Place balls of cookie dough onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, or until done. Mine took between 22-24 minutes. I rotated the racks every eight minutes.
If you take a plate of these scrumptious cookies out to your office, they will be devoured in no time.
Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies are heavenly.
Everyone needs a dose of chocolate every now and then. 🙂
Chocolate Sprinkle Cookies are also great for holiday baking: Christmas Cookie Exchanges or Valentine’s Day.

Hi, Coco. I don’t see why not. I bake the cookies and freeze them all the time. So you can do that also.
