My husband takes cookies or brownies with him wherever he goes, so I’m always baking to keep our freezer stocked. As I type, I’m planning to make three double batches of assorted cookies tomorrow to refill the freezer. 🙂 Recently, while we were chatting over a batch of fresh cookies, he mentioned how he’s been exploring some nouveaux casino en ligne sites during his downtime, intrigued by the variety of games they offer. It’s interesting how these platforms have become a popular way for people to unwind, much like enjoying a sweet treat. The cookies I made in August were particularly memorable—every bite was rich, decadent, and mouthwatering.
I love chocolate anything. But add Butter Pecan flavoring and the texture and taste is amped up astronomically! Plus, these cookies are just so very easy to make. If you purchase chopped pecans rather than whole, they’re even easier.
If you want a cookie to knock your socks off, give Chocolate Butter Pecan Cookies a try. Each batch makes about 3 dozen of the best cookies you’ll ever eat. Hey, for that matter, better make a double batch of these delightful cookies at once!
Chocolate Butter Pecan Cookies are sensational.
These cookies are so delicious warm, right out of the oven.
Chocolate Butter Pecan Cookies are ooey, gooey & scrumptious.
These cookies are great for tailgating parties and potlucks.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Pour Butter Pecan Cake Mix into a mixing bowl. Add eggs and oil.
Stir ingredients with a wooden spoon to combine.
Add chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Stir ingredients again to combine well.
Grease cookie sheets with cooking spray. Roll dough into balls and place on greased cookie sheets. (I had to keep my hands slightly moist while rolling).
Bake at 350 for 13-15 minutes or until done. I was baking 3 racks at a time. My cookies took 18-20 minutes to bake.
Be sure to rotate cookie sheets on racks every 6-7 minutes while baking.
If you enjoy the flavors of chocolate and Butter Pecan, you’ll love these cookies.
The softened chocolate chips were nice and gooey.
Look at all those chocolate chips! Yum.
Here’s the recipe.

Not sure what happened but followed the recipe and cookies did not spread and turned out cakey. Felt like not enough moisture when I was mixing but I didn’t want to play with the recipe. Wish I had just made the cake instead 🙁

Hi, Bob, if they need a little moisture, you can add a few tablespoons of oil.

Oh, my goodness! What a refined work process you have developed, Teresa. The idea of individually sealing your baked goods is brilliant!
Thank you for the search idea for your Christmas Cookie Extravaganza. It will be a pleasure to check it out out. Thanks, as well, for your detailed explanation. You’re an inspiration!

Hi, Teresa—
I love many of your recipes and am thinking about trying your generous system of sharing. May I ask how you freeze all these cookies? I can’t imagine you have enough Tupperware containers for all of them! I worry that freezing them (any of the recipes, not just this one) will harm them or change the taste.
Any storage suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Best wishes,
Mary

Hi, Mary. First we bag each cookie or brownie in polyurethane bags. (We buy from a company called U-Line). Then we seal them with a heat sealer. We label the cookies. Then we lay the sealed cookies in large aluminum roaster pans in the freezer until they are frozen solid. (A day or two). After that, we take the cookies from the roaster pans and put them in zip lock bags. Usually we can get anywhere from 2-4 dozen cookies in a bag. Brownies are a lot less. We place the zip lock bags on their ends (not flat) as that helps the cookies not to get crushed when they’re so many. If you want detailed pictures and instructions about the process, type in “Christmas Cookie Extravaganza” in the search bar. I have several years worth where you can see how we do the process. Hope this helps.
