I love to serve homemade bread with soups so when we were trying out my new breadmaker I made a batch of their simple basic white bread and served it with a healthy Acorn and Butternut Squash Soup. I also served it for breakfast with some delicious black raspberry jam. I also served it with some leftover Slow Cooker Gluten Free Chicken Noodle Soup. No matter how I served the bread it was delicious each time!
A couple of weeks ago, after my disaster trying to make Apple Butter Bread, we decided to go ahead and purchase a new breadmaker since my old one (though still working) is close to 20 years old and I was due for a new model. John ordered a new deluxe breadmaker model for me that I’m really thrilled with. One nice option is the breadmaker even provides a gluten free setting as well as several gluten free recipes.
Easy White Bread is just what it claims: a no-frills Basic White Bread, but since the recipe is slightly different from my Black and Decker recipe, I decided to go ahead and post this one too. If you’re looking for a tasty homemade white bread, then consider giving either of these delicious recipes a try. They’re great comfort food to add with soups or stews on cold winter nights when you want something warm to heat you up. You will also enjoy the fragrance of a freshly baked loaf of bread permeating your house as this easy breadmaker bread bakes.

Here’s a close up so you can see the texture of the bread.
We love eating homemade bread as an accompaniment for any meal. It’s great for breakfast with butter and jelly, it’s tasty to use for sandwich bread at lunch time, and wonderful as a side for any dinner entree.
Here’s what I did.
These are the ingredients we used. My husband actually made the loaf to see how the breadmaker would do for the first time. He chose to use oil instead of the butter in the recipe. Either way works fine. Place all ingredients into bread canister in order listed.
Here’s the bread after it’s been baked. John buttered the sides and top to prevent the crust from hardening.
Easy White Bread is a marvelous homemade bread recipe you’re family will love.
Here I toasted the bread and added jelly. I served this wonderful bread with Slow Cooker Gluten Free Chicken Noodle Soup.

I usually use hot water – not lukewarm.
