Ten Grain Nut Bread
I love this bread! Ten Grain Nut Bread is another great option for the breadmaker. It uses both bread and whole wheat flours, pecans, honey, and ten grain cereal. On top of that, it uses more healthy ingredients than many homemade breads. And, of course, it has the convenience of being made in a breadmaker so there’s so little work involved.

I made up a batch of this tasty two-pound loaf of bread for a celebration luncheon at our church a few weeks ago. I was delighted with the way it turned out. It was so tasty. I loved all the different grains and nuts in the bread. They added great texture, fiber, and taste.
This hearty bread is great served at dinner time with any main dish meal, or at lunch time with soups or salads (or both!). Ten Grain Cereal can be purchased anywhere you find Bob’sRed Mill grains. Almost all the local grocery stores carry it around here, but certainly you can find this cereal at places like Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Trader Joes, and the like.
If you’re looking for a tasty and hearty bread that only takes about 10 minutes to prepare, then Ten Grain Nut Bread qualifies. Every bite is wonderful. Make up a batch today!
Ten Grain Nut Bread is a fantastic dinner bread.
Serve this bread with butter and the jam/preserves of your choice!
Ten Grain Nut Bread is a healthier homemade bread compared to some recipes.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Layer ingredients into bread canister in order given. Set bread cycle to basic bread cycle.
Allow bread to rest 15 minutes before removing from bread machine. Then brush top and sides with butter to prevent crust from hardening.
Allow bread to rest an additional 15 minutes before cutting down into slices. I recommend an electric bread knife for perfect slices every time.
The addition of vital wheat gluten helps this bread raise correctly.
Each taste of Ten Grain Nut Bread is amazing.
Here’s the recipe.

Yes, that might be better! Otherwise it may overflow the pan.

Hi
Exactly the bread recipe I am;poking for but I do not own a bread machine, and will use my mixer stand to mix and knead with.
Do I need to do anything different before baking it, mixing it etc.
I’m also planing on using molasses instead of honey
Thank you so much in advance

Hi Kenneth. I would basically make it up the same way you would most bread recipes from scratch. You may have to add and mix the ingredients in a little different order but it should all come out fine in the end. Raise in a warm place with a tea towel over top about an hour. Place in a well-greased 9×5″ baking pan. Cover and raise again about an hour in a warm place. My mom always baked homemade breads at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. You should be able to tap the bottom and it sound hollow to the touch to determine if the bread is done. Hope it comes out well.
