Holiday Chocolate Mint Cookies

Holiday Chocolate Mint Cookies are sure to cure any sweet tooth craving. These amazing Chocolate Chip Cookies use mint chocolate chips and holiday chocolate chips. They have a marvelous chewy, crunchy, gooey texture. They're perfect for Christmas Cookie Exchanges and holiday parties. Everyone will love them!

4 cups UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour bleached flour toughens baked goods 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup light brown sugar packed 2 large eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 cup Crisco shortening no substitutes 10 oz. pkg. Nestle Chocolate and Mint Chips 10 oz. pkg. Nestle Holiday semi-sweet chocolate morsels with red and green morsels divided use
Mix sugars, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and shortening with an electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in flour, all of the chocolate and mint chips, and half of the holiday semi-sweet morsels with a wooden spoon until very well combined.
Roll mixture into balls and place on cookie sheets that have been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until done.
Rotate cookie sheets on oven racks after six minutes of baking time.
As soon as cookies come out of the oven, place remaining holiday morsels on the tops and press chips into the cookies.
Cool completely.
NOTE: I pressed about 6-8 holiday chocolate chips in the tops of each cookie.
