We had a friend who stained and polyurethaned a new cabinet we had installed in my husband’s office (at home). It wasn’t something I had time to take care of, so that worked out great for me. I gave him this luscious pie as a thank you. I got a sweet note back later thanking me for the pie. Yes, it’s loaded with chocolate, caramel, pecans and more chocolate. 🙂
Turtle Chocolate Pie is one of those desserts you can’t get enough of. It’s absolutely heavenly for a company or holiday dessert, but easy enough to make every day. 🙂 Give this pie a try the next time you’re in the mood for Turtle Candies. But be warned. Here’s what I did.

I used these ingredients.

Place dry instant chocolate pudding mix in a mixing bowl. Add half-and-half.

Whisk ingredients for two minutes, until thick.

Add Cool Whip or other non-dairy whipped topping.

Stir well with a wooden spoon.

Chop miniature Turtle Candies.

Add to chocolate mixture.

Stir to combine. Then spoon contents into a chocolate crumb crust. Top with additional Turtle candies if desired.

Line the outside edge of the pie with 8 Turtle Candies. Freeze 6 hours before serving.
