Tropical Fruit Bread
Christmas Cookie Extravaganza – 2021
Tropical Fruit Bread is absolutely scrumptious. This delicious sweet bread includes the Paradise Fruit Company’s tropical fruit mix plus almonds and vanilla chips for maximum flavor and crunchiness. I loved, loved, loved the way this bread turned out. Spread it with a little cream cheese or butter and you won’t want to stop eating!

Paradise Fruit Company sent me several containers of their candied fruit to use in baking. I ended up baking all kinds of cakes, cookies, breads, muffins and even sweet rolls and a pie! I loved everything and ate way too much of everything. Thankfully, I’m done with holiday baking for this year so I won’t be so tempted to gorge on everything.
Tropical Fruit Bread is marvelous for holiday baking and breakfasts when the kids are off from school. It’s also great for a little snack to hold you over until supper. 🙂 If you enjoy the flavors of tropical fruit like pineapple, mango, cantaloupe and papaya they taste even better in a sweet bread. Add some almonds and vanilla chips it can’t be beat! Enjoy.
Tropical Fruit Bread is outstanding!
This scrumptious sweet bread is delightful served with cream cheese.
The recipe makes four miniature loaves.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Melt butter. Add sugar, egg and orange juice.
Whisk to combine.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add salt, baking soda and baking powder.
Stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
Stir in Paradise Fruit Company’s Tropical Fruit Mix plus sliced almonds and vanilla baking chips.
Stir again to combine.
Spread mixture into four miniature greased and floured bread loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
This sweet bread is great to take out to holiday office parties.

I sliced the bread down with an electric knife to make even slices. Sometimes a regular bread knife can hack the bread into pieces!
We loved how delicious this bread turned out.

Hi, Liz. I think you can. But I would probably add the frozen fruit still frozen and bake that way, rather than thaw first.
