Peachy Berry Tossed Salad
Gluten Free Living – 2024
Peachy Berry Tossed Salad has become a favorite salad recipe for me this summer. I’ve made it half a dozen times and it’s just awesome! This lovely salad includes peaches, blueberries, raspberries and Feta cheese along with celery, cucumbers and a little red onion. The salad dressing is made with wholesome ingredients including avocado oil, honey, cider vinegar, poppy seeds and two peaches! It’s absolutely delightful and finishes off the salad wonderfully.

H-E-B (a grocery store chain in Texas) had fresh peaches in stock back in early March. I nabbed some as soon as I saw them because it’s hard to find fresh peaches that time of the year. I went weekly and got another batch of peaches each time! This scrumptious Peachy Berry Tossed Salad is where I used them several times, along with grilling them to go along with steaks or chicken.
The first time I made this recipe, I served it for lunch with a friend and also had Pumpkin Bisque with Smoked Gouda. We drooled and drooled over both of the recipes. She’s not a big salad lover but she LOVED, this salad. So did I. I’ve also made this recipe for an Empty Nester’s Potluck at our church. I also included a Colorful Mozzarella and Tomato Salad. I included it for Easter dinner with our oldest son and his wife and made it for a meal I was providing for others. It’s just really, really good.
The celery and cucumber provide a nice contrasting crunch to the peaches and berries. Feta cheese and red onion add just a touch of savory, and the salad dressing is pureed and has honey and peaches to provide a delightful sweetness to the recipe. All in all, I gave this recipe an A+.
I found a Taste of Home recipe that looked good, but I decided to improvise. I added several ingredients to the salad (both raspberries and blueberries) and changed out sugar and unhealthy vegetable oil for healthier honey and avocado oil. I also added peaches which makes the dressing thicker and more delicious. All the salad ingredients are pureed in a blender. The salad dressing actually makes enough for two of these big salads!
Peachy Berry Tossed Salad is perfect for company and potluck dinners. But truthfully, I enjoy this recipe so much that I make it frequently. It’s just THAT good!
Peachy Berry Tossed Salad has become one of our favorite salads.
This amazing Tossed Salad includes fresh peaches, blueberries, raspberries and Feta Cheese.
This Tossed Salad with Fruit is naturally gluten free.
Peachy Berry Tossed Salad was wonderful served with Pumpkin Bisque with Smoked Gouda.
Here’s what I did.
Place spring mix and baby spinach (or any combination of salad greens) in a large salad bowl. Toss.
Wash blueberries in a colander.
Pat dry between layers of paper towels; set aside.
Wash raspberries very gently in colander.
Pat raspberries dry between layers of paper towels; set aside.
Halve peaches and remove stone. Slice.
Swish fresh peach slices in a bowl with lemon juice.
Drain peach slices on paper towels.
To spinach mixture, layer cucumber slices, celery, red onion, Feta cheese, blueberries, raspberries and fresh peach slices. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
I used these ingredients for the salad dressing.
Wash, pit and slice two whole fresh peaches and place in a blender. You don’t have to peel the peaches. In this first batch I peeled the peaches, but in subsequent batches I left the peels on.
Add avocado oil.
Add honey and cider vinegar.
Add sour cream or yogurt, poppy seeds and salt.
Puree ingredients in blender about 30 seconds.
Pour salad dressing ingredients into a carafe, cruet or salad dressing dispenser.
Serve salad with dressing.
Peachy Berry Tossed Salad is a terrific salad to serve for a Ladies’ Luncheon. I added Pumpkin Bisque with Smoked Gouda.
This is a great Tossed Salad to make for company. I’ve made it with 10 ounces of spring mix with spinach and 16 ounces of salad greens and it works really well either way. For family servings I usually only use 10 ounces because we enjoy a lot of fruit and veggies with the lettuce.
The Creamy Peach Dressing works so wonderfully with this recipe.
Here’s the recipe.

Pumpkin Bisque with Smoked Gouda is a savory and sumptuous soup to serve with this luscious salad.
Look at all those plump, delicious peaches! Peaches are my favorite fruit, so whenever they are in season, I stock up and eat them in everything!
We enjoyed the crunchiness from the cucumbers and celery, but the fruit made this salad extra special.
Peachy Berry Tossed Salad is mouthwatering and irresistible! 🙂
