Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks
Gluten Free Living – 2023
Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks is a delicious way to enjoy cube steaks as a main dish entree. This one uses a coating with Italian Blend Cheese (which includes both Parmesan and Romano cheeses), along with several herbs traditionally used in Marinara sauces and Italian dishes.

If you follow my blog, you know I’ve been trying to clean out my freezers by using up a lot of meat. I get a lot of meat on sale at Kroger when they’re clearing it out. But it got to the point where I really had too much meat, so I started trying to use up two or three things each week. I pulled out these Cube Steaks and decided to try a coating on them that I’ve also used on chicken. I thought it turned out very tasty.
Because this recipe is cooked in the oven rather than pan frying (to avoid grease and excess oil), you’ll have to check for doneness after about 30 minutes. The only real way to tell if the meat is cooked is to cut into the beef with a knife for doneness. While I provide a guide of about 30 to 45 minutes, your meat may be done in 30 minutes depending on the thickness of the meat. So be aware of that when you’re cooking the meat.
Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks are so easy to whip up and convenient for week night dinners, when you want meals done in a jiffy. Add a vegetable and a side salad and you’re good to go.
Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks is a terrific way to enjoy Cube Steaks for dinner.
The steaks are seasoned with an Italian blend grated cheese and several Italian style herbs like Basil, Oregano and Thyme.
Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks are oven ready in 5 minutes!
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Place Italian blend grated cheese on a plate. Add basil, oregano, thyme, chives, parsley, salt and pepper.
Stir ingredients together really well with a fork.
Dredge cube steaks really well on both sides with the cheese mixture. I usually dredge both sides three or four times to get the steaks well coated.
Here the steak is coated.
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place cube steaks on cookie sheet. Sprinkle any remaining coating on top of the cube steaks.
Bake the cube steaks at 350 degrees approximately 30-45 minutes according to desired doneness.
Remove steaks to a platter to serve.
Serve with fresh fruit and the sides of your choice.
The coating for these Parmesan Romano Cube Steaks is wonderful.
Here’s the recipe.
