Berry Tossed Salad
Gluten Free Living – 2024
I really have found a gold mine of recipes as I go back through my old Taste of Home cookbooks! I’ve found hundreds of recipes I want to try and so many that I’ve already made. Berry Tossed Salad was one of them. It is wonderful. The salad contains strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, Feta cheese, green onions and slivered almonds. The salad dressing includes Raspberry jam and is the perfect accompaniment for this salad. It’s a keeper!

A friend from our community group recently had a hip replacement. I signed up for her meal train to bring them all a meal the day she got home from the hospital. I kept the meal relatively easy (for me!) I made Amish Chicken and Noodles, Creamy Sweet Corn, my wonderful homemade rolls (that they adore), a Blueberry Snack Cake and this delicious salad. I handed off the meal with instructions to her youngest married daughter and they were thrilled with everything.
Berry Tossed Salad was really wonderful. We added blueberries to the original salad and my husband said it was better with the blueberries than it would have been without them! The salad dressing is delightful on this fruity tossed salad and everything can be put together in less than half an hour. If you enjoy Tossed Salads with fruit, this one has your name on it! Enjoy.
