Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies
Okay, can we just agree that Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies are sensational? Well, they are. These luscious “meltaway” cookies are filled with crushed Oreos, crushed Golden Oreos and crushed Nutter Butter Bites. They have chocolate. They have peanut butter. They have creamy vanilla or peanut butter filling. They have it all!

After Thanksgiving, we hosted my youngest son and his family for a week. We asked for a list of food stuff we could have on hand for the kids to eat. Once they left in early December, I realized we still had a lot of this “junk” on hand that I needed to get rid of. I used a bunch of these kid sizes of Oreos in my Oreo Cookie Meltaways. But I still had quite a bit left over. I decided to combine the remaining Oreos with the Nutter Butter Bites and see how they would turn out.
I loved, loved, loved these cookies. They were whoppers (intentionally). But they were also chocked full of Oreos and Nutter Butter Bites. I thought they were absolutely outrageous. My initial intention was to just get rid of excess stuff in my pantry. But these turned out to be one of my favorite new Christmas cookies this past holiday season. I love eating whopper-sized cookies. None of those little one-bite cookies for me!
I whipped up several batches of cookies for our mini Christmas Cookie Extravaganza this year. I sent out over 20 trays of Christmas cookies to John’s office and Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies were one of about eight or ten different kinds. I also made Rocky Road S’Mores Bars (always a hit) and Potato Chip Cookies (no one could believe these were made with potato chips.) Coconutty Oat Bars, Pumpkin Toffee Cookies, Oreo Cookie Meltaways, Coconut Date Balls and Best Sugar Cookies were also on the menu.
Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies are super fun and delectable. While I made these during the holiday season, you can make these any time of the year. Kids will especially enjoy having Oreos and Nutter Butter Bites in every bite. The cookies have a little bit of chocolate, a little bit of peanut butter and a lot delicious crunchy taste. Enjoy.
Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies are outrageously good.
I loved the way these whopper-sized cookies turned out. They were so, so, so delicious.
Every bite of Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies will have you salivating like Pavlov’s dogs!
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients–sort of! I ran out of canola oil so I substituted grapeseed oil because that’s what I had on hand. I used a few of these Oreos, plus the ingredients in the next picture.
I used a handful of Double-Stuff Oreos, one container Oreo minis, one container Oreo golden minis, and two containers Nutter Butter bites. You need a total of 5 cups of crushed cookies.
Soften butter. Add eggs, vanilla, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Add oil.
Cream with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add Oreos, golden Oreos, and Nutter Butter Bites.
Stir ingredients with a heavy metal spoon to combine.
Place one-quarter cup scoopfuls of cookie dough on greased baking sheets. Make sure you have room for the cookies to spread. Bake at 350 for approximately 15-17 minutes or until done.
These cookies are great for tailgating parties.
Oreo Nutter Butter Cookies are certainly kid-friendly.
We loved the way these cookies turned out. They were thick, big and packed full of flavor.
Here’s the recipe.
