Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie
Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie is phenomenal! This superb pie uses only five ingredients. That’s right. 5 ingredients. It’s easy and, oh so, delicious. Because it starts with a store bought chocolate crust, it’s even simpler than you can imagine. It uses whipped topping, half-and-half, instant chocolate pudding and Reese’s peanut butter cups to round out the recipe.
Back in May we had some neighbors that had surgery. The wife had a surgery one week, and the husband was scheduled for surgery the following week. I volunteered to bring them a meal. The meal included several very easy, very simple recipes. I made Garlic Parmesan Chicken, New England Butternut Squash, Grilled Herb Vegetables and this luscious pie.
This couple has an autistic son who has really strong likes and dislikes when it comes to food. The neighbor confided that her son doesn’t even like peanut butter, but LOVED this pie! We thought it turned out fantastic. I made a second pie and gave it to a neighbor across the street when his wife was out of town traveling. He raved over it too and sent pictures to his wife. He even shared a piece with our next door neighbor’s daughter.
There is only one direction that needs changing from the original recipe. This pie does not do well in the refrigerator–even after several hours. It stays too soupy and soft. I recommend storing it in the freezer after making it, and then pull it out a few minutes before you’re ready to serve. Freeze leftovers too.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie is perfect for holiday or company dinners. But it’s so easy you’ll want to make this pie often. Your family will be glad you did!

Every bite will get your engines going!
I loved how easy this dessert came together.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Remove wrappers from four Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Slice each cup in half. Set aside.
Cut the remaining candies in eighths or chop coarsely. Set aside.
Pour instant chocolate pudding mix into a bowl. Add half-and-half.
Whisk ingredients for two minutes. Mixture will be thick.
Add non-dairy whipped topping.
Stir whipped topping into pudding mixture.
Add chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
Stir again to combine.
Remove the plastic inset from the chocolate crumb crust.
Spoon the chocolate filling into the chocolate crust.
Place halved Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups evenly around the edge of the pie shell.
Allow pie to freeze several hours or overnight before serving.
This dessert is so quick and easy to make, you’ll want to make it often for your family.
This is a great chocolaty dessert to take to potlucks or backyard barbecues.
Every one that tried a bite of this scrumptious pie raved over it!
