Gluten Free Peach Dump Cake Cobbler
Gluten Free Living – 2019
I love Dump Cakes. Gluten Free Peach Dump Cake Cobbler is certainly an irresistible dessert. This is similar to all of my Dump Cake recipes except it uses a gluten free cake mix. They cost a little more. But if you’re trying to make a gluten free dessert for a friend or family member, they’re a life-saver. This one combines the flavors of peach pie filling, pecans and coconut in a cobbler base. It’s so delicious. I could eat this by the bucket full. 🙂

I’ve made a couple of Dump Cakes with gluten free cake mix. Those include Blackberry, Strawberry and one with Apples, Peaches and Pears. I’ve also got regular Dump Cakes such as, Caramel Apple, Strawberry Rhubarb, Raspberry, Pumpkin, Apple Cranberry, Cherry, Peach and Texas Cobbler. No matter how you make them, they’re an easy and wonderful dessert.
One of the gals who directs our young adult (college-age) group at church has Celiac Disease. We host the college group over for lunch a couple of times a month. I try to always make at least two things that she can eat. Sometimes I’ve used gluten free pasta. On other occasions I’ve used gluten free flour or bread crumbs. This time I used a gluten free cake mix. And you know what? None of the kids even realized it was gluten free!
I used to have a lot of problem with my knees swelling when I ate gluten. But not any more. Two things helped me. I started taking Evening Primrose Oil supplements. That had a major impact. I also started using a fascia blaster on my knees after exercise. Sounds crazy, I know. But I’m not knocking it. I’m for anything that works. But many with severe gluten reactions aren’t so lucky. They have to stay off gluten completely.
Anyway, you probably know someone these days who’s allergic to gluten. This is a terrific (and super easy) recipe to make for any occasion. You layer the ingredients (without mixing). It’s as simple as that.
If you have family or friends getting together for Father’s Day, Gluten Free Peach Dump Cake Cobbler is the dessert to make. Add a little ice cream and you’re good to go. It’s especially delicious hot out of the oven. Yum, I think it’s time to make another one. 🙂
Update: I’m not sure why Pinterest has removed all the pins from this recipe. They always seem to have buggs in their programming. But this is a Peach Cobbler recipe that’s worth pinning!
Gluten Free Peach Dump Cake Cobbler is a mouthwatering southern dessert.
This dessert is so easy because you don’t mix anything. You just layer the ingredients in the baking dish and bake!
Gluten Free Peach Dump Cake Cobbler is perfect served a La Mode.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Pour pie filling into the bottom of a greased 9×13″ baking dish. If you desire, you can sprinkle a tablespoon of cinnamon evenly over top of the peaches if you want that flavor.
Sprinkle with coconut.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts.
Sprinkle dry gluten free cake mix over top.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
You won’t be able to cover every surface, but do the best you can.
Bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes until lightly browned and pie filling is bubbling to the surface.
This is one of those desserts that get’s cleaned out fast. 🙂

Hi Tina. Yes, you can use canned cherries or blueberries, but cherry pie filling or blueberry pie filling would be better.

Hi there. Yes it certainly can. You can use canola oil or avocado oil over top instead of the butter.
