I love Thanksgiving and all the preparation that goes into making wonderful, delicious dishes for our family or friends. Side dish casseroles have always been my favorite things to make–even more than desserts! This collection of Thanksgiving Side Dishes include so many vintage recipes from my mom, Grandma, sister, in-laws, church friends and other recipes I’ve collected over the past four to five decades.
I’ve also included lots of recipes I’ve concocted or found from cookbooks, food blogs, neighbors, and other sources, but have also become family favorites. There are a coupe of recipes that overlap in yellow squash and zucchini (because they use both vegetables). If you been assigned the task of making a hot side dish for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, I’ve got you covered! There are so many delightful and scrumptious recipes to choose from. Enjoy!
