Peach Angel Trifle
Peach Angel Trifle is awesome! No kidding. This luscious 5-ingredient recipe looks like you’ve spent all day in the kitchen, but I can usually toss everything together in about 10 minutes! The dessert uses cream cheese, Angel Food Cake (store bought), Cool Whip and Peach Pie Filling. It’s so easy even a novice cook can make this dessert with excellent results.

I made this dessert back at the end of June for our Community Group. I also made Honey-Mustard Chicken Thighs and added some of my homemade rolls since everyone always raves over them. We had all kinds of delicious food for dinner that night. And everyone loved the dessert.
This dessert can be made two different ways: One way is to make it in a trifle dish and layer the Angel Food Cake mixture between layers of pie filling. A layer of Cool Whip is dolloped on top, and since it was June, I added fresh peach slices. When peaches are out of season, I use canned peaches that have been rinsed and patted dry (if I decorate the top). The second way is to pile all of the Angel Food Cake mixture into a 9×13″ dish (or individual parfait dishes). Spoon all of the pie filling over top; cover with Cool Whip and add a little fruit for decoration, if desired. Either way, the dessert is fantastic.
I actually made two batches of Peach Angel Trifle when I made it. I put some in a smaller glass dish and some of it in parfait dishes. I gave the smaller dish to a neighbor who thought the dessert was heavenly. If peaches is your fruit of choice, this dessert is for you!
Peach Angel Trifle is a fantastic dessert to make for company.
Peach Pie Filling is the centerpiece in this dessert.
Every bite is so mouthwatering and delicious.
5-ingredient recipes are so easy to whip up.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients. You do not have to decorate the top with peaches, unless you desire it.
Cut the Angel Food Cake into cubes; set aside.
Soften cream cheese and add to a mixing bowl with powdered sugar.
Cream ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add half of the Cool Whip.
Mix again with an electric mixer until ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
Add the Angel Food Cake cubes.
Stir to combine.
Spoon half of the Angel Food Cake mixture into a trifle dish.
Spoon one can of Peach Pie Filling over the top of the Angel Food Cake Cubes.
Spread remaining Angel Food Cake mixture over top of the Peach Pie Filling.
Spoon remaining can of Peach Pie filling over top.
Mound Cool Whip over top of the Peach Pie Filling leaving a one or two-inch border around the circumference of the Trifle Dish. If desired, decorate with peach slices.
If you’re making this in a 9×13″ glass baking dish, spread all of the Angel Food Cake Cubes into the dish. Top with both cans of Peach Pie Filling. Spoon Cool Whip over top (leaving a one or two-inch border). Decorate with peach slices, if desired.
You can also make this in parfait dishes, if you desire.
Peach Angel Trifle is a truly “heavenly” dessert!
This is a sensational dessert to make for company. Everyone will be drooling over it.
