Hershey’s Nugget Chocolate Cookies
Hershey’s Nugget Chocolate Cookies are heavenly. You get a double dose of chocolate in these cookies with cocoa and chopped up Hershey’s Nuggets. They’re made using my fantastic Mrs. Field’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Copycat Recipe but adding cocoa and Hershey’s Nuggets instead.

We always seem to have bags of these candies in our garage refrigerators. My husband finds them on sale and then stashes them in the refrigerator to keep up a supply! So I’m always trying to find ways to use them up. I’ve made them with plain cookie dough, with peanut butter, in blondies with a shortbread dough, in brownies and with almonds. No matter how I use Hershey’s Nuggets in baked goods, they always turn out terrific. And, of course, who doesn’t enjoy a chocolate overload once in a while?
I am always looking for an excuse to bake cookies and this one was a good one. 🙂 I serve them almost weekly to our Friday night care group and any leftovers we freeze for John to hand out to friends on an almost weekly basis. We get letters and emails all the time thanking us for our homemade cookies or brownies. I do love to bake, and cookies are usually so easy.
If you’re looking for a terrific way to use up Hershey’s Nuggets, then give this delicious chocolate cookie recipe a try. It’s a great way to use up leftover Halloween candy. And if you want an extraordinarily rich cookie, add an additional cup of Hershey’s Nuggets when you mix the dough. You’ll love the taste of crunchy Hershey’s Nuggets chopped up into the cookies. But be warned! After one bite you may find these amazing cookies absolutely addictive!

Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients. Like I said, we have BAGS of these candies in our garage refrigerator.
Soften butter. Add sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cocoa, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
Mix ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour. Bleached flour toughens baked goods. Add chopped Hershey’s Nuggets.
Stir well with a wooden spoon to combine.
Spray large cookie sheets with cooking spray. Roll dough into balls and place on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake cookies at 350 for about 13-15 minutes or until done. I’ve had these take as long as 20 minutes when I’m running multiple racks in the oven at once.
Every bite of Hershey’s Nugget Chocolate Cookies will have you salivating!
These cookies will satisfy every sweet tooth craving you have!
