Creamy Parmesan Dressing

Creamy Parmesan Dressing is fantastic. I made it to go with a spectacular BLT Salad recipe that also used Homemade Gluten Free Croutons. Wow, the taste of this dressing was amazing. Along with being pretty simple to make, this dressing uses mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, garlic, thyme, parsley, parmesan cheese, and a little milk or cream to thin the dressing. I used Just So mayonnaise because it’s a little healthier than many mayonnaise recipes, although one made with olive oil or avocado oil would be better.
This dressing is thick and creamy and perfect for any kind of tossed salad. While I made it specifically for a BLT Salad, I also used it on regular tossed salad and it sure amped up the flavors of that salad too. The parmesan cheese adds a deep, rich flavor and the seasonings keep it lively and delicious!
Last month we had friends over for dinner where I served this dressing over top of a BLT Salad with homemade croutons. It was a winner for everyone. I think all of us had two helpings a piece! If you’re looking for a quick and easy salad dressing to liven up any tossed salad then give Creamy Parmesan Dressing a try. I think this dressing would be especially wonderful on Taco Salads. Regardless of what kind of salad you use it with, this lovely salad dressing is a winner!

This dressing is very thick and creamy.
Here’s what I did.
I used these ingredients.
Place mayonnaise into a large mixing bowl. Add sour cream, parmesan cheese, snipped chives, parsley, thyme, pink Himalayan sea salt and pepper.
Stir to combine. Mixture will be thick.
Add milk or cream and thin dressing to desired consistency.
I prefer my dressings pretty thick, but you can add more milk if you like yours thinner.
Pour Creamy Parmesan Dressing into a serving bowl or salad dressing dispenser of your choice.
Here I’ve spooned the dressing over top of the BLT Salad.

Creamy Parmesan Dressing is gluten free and very easy to make. This dressing can be made up in about 5 minutes! Refrigerate it until you’re ready to serve your salad.
